Risk calculator for spontaneous delivery and ceserean section
In a singleton pregnancy at between 40 weeks and 43 weeks of gestation, it is possible to calculate
- the chance that she will have spontaneous onset of labour, leading to vaginal delivery, within the subsequent 7-10 days
- the chance that she will have spontaneous onset of labour within the subsequent 7-10 days but will require a ceserean section either for fetal distress or failure to progress
- the chance that she will require a ceserean section after induction of labour because she did not go into spontaneous labour within the subsequent 7-10 days
